Orders
Do you have gift wrapping?
At this time, we do not offer gift-wrapping services. However if you would like to add a note to your order please add it to the Gift Note field at checkout.
Do you charge Sales Tax?
We change tax based on your local state regulations.
When is my card charged?
When you place your order the charge is pre-authorized on your credit card, but the charge will only be finalized when your order ships.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes we do! We offer personalized engraving services, custom artwork, and more. Contact us so we can best help you.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale discounts?
Yes we offer bulk and wholesale discounts. Fill out our form.
Can I cancel or modify my order after it has been placed?
Orders are processed immediately. Please verify that your cart, shipping address, and other order details are correct before checking out. We cannot guarantee orders can be changed if they have already been processed.
If necessary to change your order, email us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help you. Make sure you have your order number ready.
I entered an incorrect address - HELP!
If you entered an incorrect shipping address please contact us immediately. We will do our best to help you. Unfortunately, if the order has already been shipped, there is nothing we can do. If the package is returned to us, we can mail it again but we will need to charge you for shipping (this is true for all orders even those that initially qualify for free shipping).
Is a discount code applied before or after shipping has been calculated?
Discounts are applied before shipping is calculated. Your discounted cart must reach the free shipping minimum in order to receive free shipping. Discounts are not applicable on shipping costs. Discounts and shipping are calculated at checkout.
What happens if I received the wrong product or something was damaged?
Please reach out to us at shop@scienceseeds.com with your order number and shipping issue. Please include a photo if possible. We will work to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

What can I use to decorate my kit?
Our hand sanded wood makes for a smooth that takes color really well. You can use a variety of decorative.
Who makes your products?
Our products are crafted in Princeton, NJ. We handle everything from design to production, utilizing our own state-of-the-art laser cutters and ensuring exceptional quality. With a dedicated team, we personally hand sand each kit, upholding our commitment to both outstanding craftsmanship and an ethical local supply chain.
Do you need to cut or force the pieces off the boards?
Our kits are designed with very thin sprues which means our kit pieces will drop out of the boards with a gentle shake or gentle push. No cutting or exaggerated pushing needed to remove the pieces from our boards.
Do your kits require any additional sourcing of materials?
Our kits are designed with convenience in mind. We provide everything you need to complete the build inside the packaging, so you won't have to search for additional items. Unlike other kits, we ensure that essential components like strings, sandpaper or rubber bands are included. The only items we don't provide are markers, paints, or colored pencils, as we believe you'll have your own preferred colors on hand to customize your kit to your liking.
Do I need glue or other adhesive agents?
No, all our kits are designed to be assembled by press fitting of pieces.
Do your kits include instructions in the packaging?
Each kit includes a physical paper instruction sheet with labeled parts and clear step-by-step illustrations. Additionally, we provide PDF copies of the instructions online, and depending on the products wire frame animations and/or videos showcasing the assembly process. We are actively working on creating additional video instructions to enhance accessibility, and soon, QR codes will be included with every instruction for easy access to these videos. We are committed to providing multiple resources to ensure a smooth and enjoyable building journey. Instructions for each product can be accessed from the product description page.
Common Questions
Do you have a physical store?
At the moment we do not have a physical store. You can find us selling in person at various pop up markets and events. If you would like to see/test our products in person, email us to see when we will be in your neighborhood.

What do I do if I am missing pieces or a piece breaks?
Oh no, we are sorry to hear that. It happens sometimes. Please email us with your order number and missing piece request. If you can send us a photo of your missing/broken pieces that would be great.
